A review of the role user-generated technology plays in the context of media, information delivery, privacy, idea development, crowdsourcing and blogging. This research was the culminating Thesis for my major in Political Science.

Researching Newspaper Design in London
An indepth look at the visual communication of the major metropolitan and evening newspapers in London. Conducted through City University, London, and Arcadia University in April 2008. This academic study considers visual language, navigation, readability, price, circulation and format. I had the opportunity to talk with professionals in the field like The Guardian's Special Projects Director, Mark Leeds, The London Paper initial designer Alfred Trivino and CEO of VisualEditors.com, Robb Montgomery.

Research Abroad
I studied abroad in London to do research, take courses and perform an internship at a political magazine in Westminster. It was a busy semester but I learned a lot and still had the opportunity to travel.

I conducted an an ethnographic study and Contextual Inquiry in the home of a DJ in Bloomington with two teammates. We then went to his club to further understand him and his community. We collected audio, video and notes for an Affinity Diagram analysis.
